Hourly vs flat rate
Two ways to pay,
Two ways to pay,
and one is cheaper for you
The other way to pay. The four packages above are flat rate: one number for the whole job. Hourly is the opposite — you pay for time, which works out cheaper on smaller moves.
Rule of thumb: hourly wins on studios and one to two bedrooms, where the job is short and predictable. Flat rate wins on three bedrooms and up, and on offices, where the risk of a long day is real and you would rather not carry it.
Your moving consultant will tell you which one is cheaper for your job, including when that means the smaller number for us.

Supplies and protection
Blankets, shrink wrap and floor protection are included, applied in the room before anything moves.
Disassembly and reassembly
Beds, tables, wardrobes and gym equipment come apart and go back together as part of the hours.
Loading and unloading
Same crew both ends. Nothing is handed to a second team you have never met.
You pay for time used
If the job runs short, you pay for what it took. That is the whole point of hourly.
Packing if you want it
Packing labor can be added to an hourly booking. Tell us in advance so the crew is sized for it.

01 How many movers do I need?+
Studios and one-bedrooms usually take two. Two-bedrooms take three. Three bedrooms and up take four or five. More movers costs more per hour but fewer hours — your consultant will do that maths with you on the phone.
02 Is the truck included in the hourly rate?+
Yes. The rate covers the crew and the truck, plus supplies and protection. There is no separate truck fee and no travel surcharge.
03 What if the move takes longer than estimated?+
You pay for the hours used. That is the trade-off with hourly: it is cheaper when the job is straightforward and it costs more when it is not. If you would rather not carry that risk, flat rate locks the number.
04 Is there a minimum?+
Yes, there is a minimum booking. Your consultant will tell you what it is for your crew size when you book — it is on the quote, not a surprise.
05 Can I switch to flat rate?+
Yes, up until you book the date. Once we have walked the job we can quote it either way and you pick.
06 Do you do hourly on weekends?+
Yes. We run seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at the same rate.
